The portuguese language is the 6th most used language in the world with more than 230 million people using it around the globe. Portugal is also the main producer of cork distributing 50% of the worlds cork. Portugal is one of the countries that has contributed much to our world with its inventions. It hosts not only the web summit each year but is home to the oldest bookstore around the globe. This country is a perfect place for surfers with high waves peaking at around 100 feet tall.
