In the early 1960's Ford asked Carroll Shelby an automotive designer and race car driver to help
make the 1965 Mustang. They started working on it and came out with one in 1964 called the
1964 Shelby Mustang. At 350 horsepower it can reach up to 155 miles per hour. A lot may say
that's slow but in the 1960's it was considered fast. Carroll was born on January 11, 1923 and
died May 10, 2012. His cars aren't manufactured anymore but you can find people selling them at
an average $66,000.
