Why Mythology is Important

Myths are still important because it makes up most of anybody's heritage. It's a reminder of what we are, how we began, and where we came from. Every single culture has their own collection of myths, legends, and folklore. How most people understand mythology they have to define what comprises a myth. One other reason is that mythology builds a foundation for a bunch of religions that are still being practiced. The best example of mythology is comic books. Modern-day fiction is rich with new mythology. In Greece myths about gods, goddesses, heroes, and monsters were a major part of everyday life.
